A diverse society, where there is space for everyone, where each person has their own identity.
Identity forged with time, the experiences and the people accompanying them along her way. This identity is unique and only belongs to oneself, not to society, which is becoming less and less human, nor those who we find along our path; otherwise, nothing would make sense any more, because then even our thoughts would not be ours. It doesn’t matter being equal or different to others, what matters is to know who you are.
For six months, I have had my workshop open to anyone who voluntarily wanted to participate. From an egg-shaped piece (symbolism of a new birth) each participant released their creativity, their thinking,… They were simply themselves, creating their own work. It was very interesting to see the different reactions they had, for some people it was the first time they had stood in front of a piece of clay, others already has some experience, some improvised, others had a clear idea of what they wanted, even some people saying “I imagine it with a candle, hanging from a branch…” And so I assembled likewise, respecting their decisions and their individual personality.
It is thanks to all those people who have made it possible for the IDENTITY PROJECT to be realized. The result has been 42 pieces and the participation of 49 people aged between 9 months and 70 years.
